Accent Reduction
At Communicative Health Care Associates we recognize that clear and readily understood oral communication is vital in the workplace, in medical settings, in academic institutions, and in social situations. Foreign and even regional accents may hinder effective communication. We offer dynamic one-on-one or small class training in accent reduction resulting in benefits both to the speaker and the listener. Our unique accent reduction program is designed to help non-native speakers of American English to reduce the interfering sounds of foreign languages. We also work with people to modify their regional dialects.
An experienced speech therapist will provide comprehensive instruction in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We have a 16 hour course with individual follow-up conferences after course completion. We offer reasonable rates and flexible times to accommodate working professionals. Our programs are available on- and off-site.
